Prepares menu items to recipe and quality standards during service while keeping the station clean and organized.
Essential Functions
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Set up and stock the assigned station before service
- Complete food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and making sauces
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures
- Communicate with the kitchen team to keep orders moving during service
- Clean and break down the station at the end of each shift
Qualifications
Required:
- Prior kitchen or food preparation experience
- Food handler certification, where required
Preferred:
- Culinary training or certificate
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Ability to stand for an entire shift, work near hot equipment, and lift up to 50 lbs.
